Founded in 1983 through a partnership between the City of Boise, the Boise Chamber of Commerce, and a group of local business owners, Capital Matrix is a private non-profit corporation focused exclusively on the SBA 504 loan program. The Idaho-based CDC has assisted over 1,800 small businesses in accessing more than $600 million in financing, supporting roughly 10,000 jobs across the inland Northwest. Capital Matrix has been recognized as CDC of the Year by the SBA Boise District multiple times, and supports broader regional economic development by funding grants to non-profits and government entities working on job creation projects.
