Granite State Economic Development Corporation (GSDC) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit lender founded in 1985 by Alan Abraham and headquartered in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Recognized as the most active Certified Development Company in New England, GSDC partners with banks across Northern New England to deliver the SBA 504 loan program for owner-occupied commercial real estate, construction, renovation, and equipment financing. Beyond 504 lending, GSDC runs an Economic Development Grant Fund (EDGF) that awards grants to community organizations whose work creates or retains jobs and otherwise supports the local economy. The organization employs roughly 32 staff and holds more than $25 million in assets.
